Congratulations to Rob Smith (helm), and Team Xcellent who won the event on equal points with British Sailing Team’s Morgan Peach (helm) and their fantastic crews. The racing came down to the wire with Team Xcellant winning on countback. Both teams will now be invited to represent the RTYC and the SW at the National finals in Cowes.
A great weekend of sailing in much diverse conditions, with the only constant being the rain. Special thanks to Jack Fenwick from the RYA, Judges Liz and Steve Proctor, Race Officers Bill Butcher and Bob Penfold and the many volunteers who’s help was invaluable. An additional thank you to Offshore Turbine Services for the use of one of their Grey Catamarans for being mother ship for the weekend. Sponsors Bainbridge and Selden
