Falkland’s Hero to speak at Club Dinner

The Commodore and Officers of the Club are delighted to announce that Rear Admiral Dr Chris Parry, CBE, has agreed to be our guest speaker at a 40th Anniversary Dinner at the Club on 18th June 2022 to commemorate the end of the Falkland Islands Campaign.
As a young Officer, Dr Parry served in the Falklands Campaign and was Mentioned in Dispatches not least for his role in the helicopter rescue of 16 SAS Troopers from Fortuna Glacier in South Georgia in appalling weather.
We are also pleased to welcome Colonel Simon Chapman OBE, Commandant of Commando Training Centre Royal Marines at Lympstone.
In addition to a welcome glass of fizz, we will be serving a five course meal with a vegetarian option. If there are any allergy or other dietary requirements, please let us know in advance. We plan to offer both a red wine and a white wine at a special event low price in addition to the usual club wine list.
Dress Code: Lounge Suits or Yachting Best
Our intention is to have a photographer present should members wish to have a record of the event.
There will be a seating plan with individual place names, so please indicate with whom you would like to be seated; whilst we cannot offer a guarantee, we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.
