RS Feva European Championships 2015
There were 80 RS Fevas’ at the European RS Feva Championships at CV Gargnano, Lake Garda, Italy last weekend .
Royal Torbay Yacht Club had four members racing out in Italy; The all girl team of Jess & Caitlin and brothers Finn and Dan.
The girls, Jess and Caitlin, were consistent over the event but the wind was not, with a lack of wind over the whole 
championship. Out of the 10 races planned only 7 were actually finished. Caitlin and Jess were 1st Junior girls home after 3 days of racing and achieved the 2nd girls overall position and 3rd Junior position. The girls finished 23 rd overall.
Dan and Finn finished up 14th overall, taking a 1st place in the second race.

Both these teams now head straight from Italy to the UK RS FEVA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS at Rutland Sailing Club this week (29th – 31st May). They will be joined by other sailors from RTYC in their Fevas.
